Call for nominations : Latin America Regional Committee

We are pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the position of Latin America Regional Representative of the International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC).

The IAUC is committed to expanding representativeness and diversity within its governance structures. Regional Representatives play a fundamental role in amplifying the voices and perspectives of communities and research groups located in regions historically underrepresented.

The Latin America Regional Representative is responsible for:
– Strengthening the presence and visibility of IAUC across Latin America;
– Facilitating communication between IAUC and local research communities;
– Encouraging participation in IAUC activities, working groups, and events;
– Bringing forward regional needs, priorities, and proposals to the global leadership of IAUC.

We warmly invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners working on urban climate in Latin America to consider submitting their candidacy.
If you are based outside the region, we encourage you to nominate a colleague who would be a strong and committed representative.
