This summer school addresses the analys of urban microclimate data (“from sensor to science”), where participants will go through all the necessary steps to analyse their own microclimatological dataset (with a focus on urban temperature time series). Next to the hands-on exercises with the dataset provided by the participant, the program also includes lectures, an urban climate walk in the city of Ghent and an excursion to the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium in Brussels. The participation is open for PhD students, post-docs and early career scientists from COST member countries and will be reimbursed by the COST action. Interested candidates can apply by sending their CV, including basic skills as well as a motivation letter till 14/04/2023 to the summer school scientific coordinator Prof. Steven Caluwaerts.
